What comes to mind when you think of the word kindness? It may be being kind to others, or helping people around us when they have difficulties or when they are in trouble. It is something that comes within the heart without hoping for something in return. It is a selfless act.
But when you investigate further, you will also realize that kindness does not only mean these things. Apart from such points, you will run into an undiscovered topic that is not looked upon properly or is not stressed - 'Self Love'. Self-love solely means that we are being kind to ourselves and not hurting ourselves in the process.
For instance, In stressful atmospheres and hard times, we force ourselves to do tasks that are out of our limits and take them into hands that we can’t afford to complete on time. And at present, you have a lot on your plate. Hence, we start completing multiple tasks at once which increases the pressure on us. And voila! Now that you are stressed, your mental health has taken a toll. So, Next time you take things into your hands, think about them carefully. Is it possible for you to do it? If yes, then you are on the right track.
Apart from batting about taking extra work into your hands, comparing ourselves to others is also an important topic to consider. Nowadays, we are using social media platforms a lot in our leisure time. The minute we open these platforms, we see gorgeous models with no imperfection. There is an ongoing trend that states the perfect face and body one can have. And this is so not true. The pictures on social media are taken with good lighting, editing, and photoshop which makes them look perfect. But in real life, these are not true. We take this to our heart and compare ourselves, think about negative thoughts, and degrade ourselves. I also had fallen into this perfection trap. But you should know that everyone is beautiful in their way, and no one can change it. Look at yourself in the mirror and repeat - I am Beautiful, I deserve everything. Even though these are just words, our subconscious mind picks on little things we believe.
Positive affirmations will help you to grow from the inside. You can let others know that they are beautiful the way they are by complementing them about the little things which go unnoticed. Trust me, it works wonders. By saying affirmative and encouraging words, a person can grow more confident and have belief in themselves.
Not only human beings but plants also need words of encouragement to grow healthy and strong. Many types of researchers observed that plants grown in a positive environment are much healthier compared to those which are grown in a negative environment. So, next time you see a plant or visit a nursery, remember to give them a boost by complementing them. If we forgive our mistakes, show ourselves gratitude, and kindness, and reward ourselves after a long week of hard work with some treats, self-pampering, or anything else that we love, then we realize what kindness means to others. Inner growth should always come first when you think about kindness.
To make our connection grow stronger and to dump your thoughts, dont be scared of commenting and telling me about the incidents that occured to you and the things you need help with. I'll be always there to help you besties.
